LinkedIn has become a boring platform.
I remove many posts from my feed every day. (Tell me if you’ve done so at least once)
“Why do you do that, Sami?”
Well, nothing kills a post as much as an irrelevant idea does. And no surprise, most of these posts have no relevant idea.
Now you should know…
We all like to read something that stands out to us.
Something we’ve rarely heard about. Or something not everyone talks about but should.
That’s human nature.
We all demand invention. That’s where fun is.
“So?”
So what? You gotta fix your ideas or more of your readers are going to hit that remove button.
Newsflash:
You can easily find ideas that work.
They can be questions. They can be topics communicated through conversations. They can also come from content that’s performed well.
Here’s your path to each one of them:
1: Hunt high-performing content
“How?”
Do the “Kleo mining”.
Get the Kleo Chrome extension and open it while being on the LinkedIn feed.
You’ll see a bunch of viral posts.
Now here’s the thing:
In the search bar, type any topic or niche you’re interested in. You’ll see some related posts with good performance.
Explore them all. Learn from them.
See what made them so good.
In case you don’t like the posts you see, click on the Shuffle button in the top right corner. It will refresh the page.
2: Explore Discussions
There are ways you can see what people ask about.
This can be general or in a specific niche.
To find that out about your niche, go to alsoasked.(com).
In the search bar, type your niche and press enter. You’ll see a bunch of questions that come up.
These are some of the trendiest questions.
Good thing: Each question can work as an idea.
Now, if people are asking about something, they will pay attention and read your content if it answers that question.
You get what I’m sayin’? Good.
Onward.
3: Explore with ChatGPT
How? Easy.
First, put this prompt to work:
“what are some trending ideas and questions on linkedin related to [your desired niche]”
I tried it with the topic “AI” and it gave me some cool stuff.
I got some questions people ask and the topics related to AI. Pretty cool, right?
Now, there’s no shortage of ideas.
You simply call on a tool and boom. You have a list of them.
Well, if you’ve collected ideas by now and need to brainstorm or draft a post, see this:
Time to sign off!
I’ll see ya next.
Bye. Sami.
PS. Quick note → To avoid my future emails being sent to your spam, just reply to this with “Hey Sami".
This helps you and takes you a second.
I spend hours writing each email.
Deal?
Kleo is a game-changer, Especially when you want to learn and apply the copywriting framework from high performing personal brands and business.
Super useful roundup! 🙌 Had no idea about Kleo or alsoasked, definitely going to test those out.
