I always save a great hook idea whenever I think of one.
(Most of the good ones come when I’m in the shower)
Why do I save it right away?
I’ll forget it as soon as I start to think about something else.
Plus, I don’t only treat a hook as a scroll-stopper.
I use it as a content idea, as a means to start a piece of content with, and to break down what it has in context.
Most of the time, all I have is a hook and:
It helps me curate a post.
It helps me build a message.
It also helps me sum up my writing.
And if you’re still not doing it, I suggest you do.
But the good news is that you don’t need to wait for hook ideas to come to you. You can steal them.
(Well. Not that kind of stealing)
But the one that artists do.
Let me show you how:
1. Find a post.
I mean any kind of post. From anyone.
If you’re on LinkedIn or twitter, just search for something you like, and you’ll get tons of posts.
For example, I’ll choose one of my Linky posts.
Copy the whole post & there’s another step waiting for you…
2. Get the Hook-writing prompt
It’s inside the AI Writer system.
(Or click here for a quick access)
Copy the prompt once you find it but before that…
Fill in all the variables inside the prompt. You’ll notice them all in bold texts.
Next…
3. Process it with ChatGPT
Open ChatGPT first, and there are two things to take care of:
A) Paste the post inside the prompt (where it asks).
B) Paste that entire prompt into ChatGPT.
Once again, don’t forget to fill in all the variables in the prompt.
They are the sample hooks (if you want to change), the limit of characters you want in a hook, and who your audience is.
Now, click Enter and you’ll get a bunch of hook ideas.
They’re based on the post I used, but each one has a different context and idea.
You can now treat them as both hooks and ideas.
A Bonus Point:
You got multiple hooks and ideas. But…
…if you want to write a post on any one of them, copy it and paste it inside My Ghostwriter GPT.
(Try to add a “write a post…” command before the hook)
And you’ll get a post like the one above.
Edit it. Prepare it. And use it.
PS: The posts you now write with My Ghostwriter GPT won’t be detected as AI-generated but human-written.
Go & test it yourself.
I’ll wrap up here.
Until next time.
