Almost all top copywriters suggest this one thing:
Be simple and avoid complexity.
But unlike what they say, most newbie writers try to be so smart that their writing feels like a puzzle.
And why do you think they do this?
To sound smart? To impress the reader? Or to make the reader act on something?
Maybe all. But they’ll miserably fail.
This not only confuses their readers but also fails to deliver the message.
(Right into the trash)
So what makes a copy simple anyways?
First, it’s using a language that is common and understandable for the reader. Plus, you need to use easier and shorter words.
This way, you achieve 2 things:
You deliver your message easily.
You find fans who’d love your message.
But you may ask:
“How can you know that many words as a non-copywriter? They can be thousands, right?”
Yes. And you do that easily with AI.
Here’s a step-by-step breakdown:
First, get your copy (piece of writing) ready.
For the moment, I’ll be using this writing below. Have a look. You’ll notice some words that are complex.
Then paste the prompt below into ChatGPT, along with your copy.
Act as a copywriter who has been writing and editing great copies for a long time. I want you to analyze the copy below and then do the followings:
- Change all 3 or more syllable words into their 1 or 2 syllable synonyms.
- The synonyms you use should be simpler and more common (every day used) than the ones currently used in this copy.
- If any new synonym has more syllable or is harder to pronounce than the current words, then avoid using it and instead keep the current word.
Here's the copy below:

What I got was this.
I love the changes, especially in the 1st and 2nd sentences.
Now here’s another thing:
You can always add whatever you want in this prompt.
It can be a certain type of words you want ChatGPT to use, or something you want to avoid or remove.
You have full control, now.
And.. try it for your next post or copy. Let me know how it goes.
I’ll be sharing more premium emails. There’s a lot that can help you create better content. You can always join here if you want.

P.S. We haven’t heard from each other since the last year😀. So I hope your 2025 is going well.
