If you’re creating content on one or more platforms, understand this one thing:
Repurposing content.
It gives you a hand in shooting multiple birds with one stone.
Not real birds, of course.
But what I mean by that is…
You can repurpose one piece of content into many and…
Use them on Twitter, LinkedIn, Substack, etc.
Even better:
You can use the same piece of content for more than one time.
This gives you more options for what to post.
So a quick question:
Have you ever wondered how AI can help with all this?
If not, I’ll explain it to you.
Here’s how to repurpose long into short form content:
I gotta tell you, I’ll be using AI for that…
1: Find some long-form content.
You may have a blog or a newsletter. Or maybe a long piece of copy.
Get it ready.
Here, I’ll choose one of my emails.
It’s a long email. Check it out here.
Copy the whole text and then…
2: Open My Ghostwriter GPT.
I built it for writing medium to short-form copies.
Oh… before I forget, open it here.
You just need a free ChatGPT account.
Paste the text you copied into this GPT, hit Enter, and boom.
You’ll get a copy like this:
Now, this seems like a perfect draft you can use.
There’s one last part that makes it even better: formatting.
Let’s do that with AI too.
3: Use AI to format the post.
Before anything, find a post or copy that’s written in a format you like.
(Unless you want to format it yourself.)
For example, I’ll choose one of my LinkedIn posts.
Copy the post and paste it into ChatGPT with this prompt:
I want you to templatize this LinkedIn post. Try to match everything in the post including the hook, the structure, the formatting, the way it is written and all others.
Once you hit Enter, you’ll get a template like this:
Now, our goal is to format the copy we got from My Ghostwriter GPT.
We’ll do it this way:
Copy what the GPT generated.
Paste it into the templatization chat with the prompt below.
Hit Enter, and you're done.
Now I want you to fit this copy into the template you just created:
After you do that, you’ll get something like this:
Now, what is this made up of?
This is the copy I rewrote with my Ghostwriter, which I then fit into a template from one of my posts.
You can repurpose this into a tweet too.
How?
Templatize the tweet and ask ChatGPT to fit the copy into the template.
You can do this with any type of short content.
It’s just a matter of technique, and...
I’m sure you’ve learned that by now as well.
And finally…
Drop a like if this helped you in any way.
See ya,
Sami 👋
